1) On-Site Consultation
We visit your home to understand your space, budget and goals.
2) Measurement and Site Review
We take measurements and assess grading and drainage. For planting, Purdue Extension St. Joseph County offers soil test kits for local yards.
3) Design and Adjust
We build the design, often in 3D, and adjust it with you until the layout and flow feel right.
4) Approve and Build
Once you approve the plan, our crew builds it, so the finished yard matches the design.
Water is part of every design. We assess grading and drainage on the first visit and plan for it before anything is built.
Grading and swales: Combine planting beds with grading fixes or swales to move water away from your home’s foundation.
Walls on slopes: Retaining walls hold back soil, stop erosion and make level space on sloped lots, with drainage behind the wall.
